Moon Dough
We made our own moon dough with very simple ingredients if you have them at home. We used flour and baby oil but you can also use cooking oil such as vegetable or olive oil as a substitute. You can also add food coloring for color and an essential oil for scent if you like.
A message for moms: Sensory play can get messy for sure but it is also extremely important for development! Sensory play supports language development, cognitive growth, fine and gross motor skills, problem solving skills, and social interaction
Monster Shapes
|
We were inspired to make our own Shape Monsters after watching LUNCH DOODLES with author Mo Willems.
Brielle decided to make an Oval Monster. What shape will you use to create yours? We also went on a shape hunt today. We drew a circle, square and rectangle on pieces of paper and looked for these shapes around the house. Can you find these shapes in your home? |
Spring Flowers
We created some Spring flowers with some materials we had at home. To create your own you will need:
Paint
Fork or Empty water bottle
Paper
Markers/Crayons
If you do not have these materials do not worry! There are many ways you can create your own. You could try to trace your hand and add a stem and leaves.
